HW#8
1) Babylon was the first civilization on earth to have a written llegal code.
2) Hammurabi's ordeal is a painful richual and it is done when someone in a tribe has committed a crime. What is done in the ordeal is that the people that have been accused must lick a heated pan and after they have licked this pan they are told to cleanse there mouth with water, the water is not to take away the pain it is to ready the drinker for judgment. When done with the clensing of the mouth a person checks there toungs to see if they are guilty or not.
3) The bible is the famous book that Hammurabi's laws helped create.
4) Hammurabi was not the creator of any of these laws he was just the man that wrote them down.
